Do you own a Canon 40D?
Journal Entry: Wed Mar 5, 2008, 11:36 AM
So, this past november I bought a Canon 40D... and (crazy I know) I really haven't played around with it too much. (I guess that's what pregnancy will do for ya). Well, I had a wedding to shoot in February and was expecting it to work much like my 10D or my brother's 5D.. which it did except for the White balance seemed AWFUL. No matter what I did when looking at the picture after it had taken it always look way too orangeish yellow or too blue. I was mortified. I tried Auto WB, Custom WB, every white balance setting. (I usually use Auto because it seems to work well for me.) Therefore, being very scared, i reverted back to my ancient 10d while letting my hubby helper use the new camera.
So turns out.. after uploading the pics.. they didnt look like the had a white balance issue at all! Is it just my screen on the camera? do i have something set wrong? should i exchange it and see if another one does the same thing??
